INDAHNYA PERSEKUTUAN
Bacaan : Roma 12:9-17
Setahun: Ulangan 31-34
Nats: Bersukacitala dengan orang yang bersukacita, dan menangislah dengan orang yang menangis! (Roma 12:15)
Seorang pemuda kehilangan sepeda motornya yang diparkir di halaman gereja. Ia sangat terpukul. Setelah dua belas bulan mengangsur dengan gaji pas-pasan, sepeda motornya raib! Para pemuda berdoa baginya. Lalu, sebuah pertanyaan muncul: "Mengapa hanya berdoa? Ti-dak bisakah kita berbuat sesuatu?" Tanpa sepengetahuan si pemuda, puluhan rekannya berusaha mengumpulkan uang. Ada yang menyisihkan penghasilannya setiap bulan. Ada yang berjualan kue. Setahun kemudian, mereka berhasil membeli sepeda motor baru dan diserahkan kepada si pemuda pada persekutuan malam Natal. Momen itu sangat indah. Penuh tawa dan air mata. Baik yang memberi maupun yang menerima, semua dilimpahi berkat Tuhan.
Tuhan sering membentuk kerohanian kita melalui persekutuan. Tak seorang pun bisa memiliki kerohanian yang dewasa semata dengan berdoa, berpuasa, atau mendalami Alkitab secara pribadi. Itu sebabnya, Rasul Paulus meminta jemaat untuk selalu terlibat dalam per-sekutuan. Dalam setiap persekutuan, ada bermacam-macam orang. Ada yang hatinya sedang sesak (ayat 12), hidup berkekurangan (ayat 13), berdukacita (ayat 15), bahkan mungkin ada yang jahat (ayat 17). Tidak mudah mengasihi dan memahami mereka. Konflik dan salah paham biasa terjadi. Namun, justru lewat semua itu kita belajar mengasihi dengan tulus. Belajar menangis dan tertawa bersama. Belajar sehati sepikir.
Tuhan membentuk kita lewat orang lain. Maka benamkanlah diri Anda dalam persekutuan. Di situlah Anda memiliki kesempatan untuk berlatih: Mewujudkan kasih dalam tindakan nyata! --JTI

9 Hendaklah kasih itu jangan pura-pura! Jauhilah yang jahat dan lakukanlah yang baik.
10 Hendaklah kamu saling mengasihi sebagai saudara dan saling mendahului dalam memberi hormat.
11 Janganlah hendaknya kerajinanmu kendor, biarlah rohmu menyala-nyala dan layanilah Tuhan.
12 Bersukacitalah dalam pengharapan, sabarlah dalam kesesakan, dan bertekunlah dalam doa!
13 Bantulah dalam kekurangan orang-orang kudus dan usahakanlah dirimu untuk selalu memberikan tumpangan!
14 Berkatilah siapa yang menganiaya kamu, berkatilah dan jangan mengutuk!
15 Bersukacitalah dengan orang yang bersukacita, dan menangislah dengan orang yang menangis!
16 Hendaklah kamu sehati sepikir dalam hidupmu bersama; janganlah kamu memikirkan perkara-perkara yang tinggi, tetapi arahkanlah dirimu kepada perkara-perkara yang sederhana. Janganlah menganggap dirimu pandai!
17 Janganlah membalas kejahatan dengan kejahatan; lakukanlah apa yang baik bagi semua orang!

BEAUTIFUL FELLOWSHIP
Readings: Romans 12:9-17
One Year: Deuteronomy 31-34

A young man lost his motorcycle parked in the churchyard. He was devastated. After twelve months of pay in installments with a mediocre salary, his motorcycle disappeared! The youth prayed for him. Then, a question arises: "Why only pray? It's not can we do something?" Unbeknownst to the boy, dozens of his colleagues tried to collect money. There are setting aside their income every month. Some sell cakes. A year later, they managed to buy a new motorcycle and turned over to the boy on Christmas Eve communion. It was a beautiful moment. Full of laughter and tears. Both the giving and receiving, all endowed thanks to the Lord.
God often shape our spirituality through fellowship. No one could have a mature spirituality simply by praying, fasting, or studying the Bible in private. That is why the Apostle Paul asked the church to always be involved in a fellowship. In every community, there are all kinds of people. There are currently congested heart (verse 12), lack of life (verse 13), mourning (v. 15), there may even be an evil (verse 17). It's not easy to love and understand them. Conflicts and misunderstandings are common. However, even through all that we learn to love with sincerity. Learning to cry and laugh together. Learn accord judgment.
God formed us through other people. So immerse yourself in a fellowship. That's where you have the opportunity to practice: Making love in real action! - JTI

9 Let love be not pretend! Stay away from evil and do good.
10 Be ye love one another as brothers and precede each other in a salute.
11 Do not be kerajinanmu loose, let your spirit glowing and serve the Lord.
12 Rejoice in hope, patient in distresses, and bertekunlah in prayer!
13 Lend a shortage of saints and usahakanlah yourself to always give you a ride!
14 Bless anyone who persecute you, bless and do not curse!
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep!
16 Be ye one accord sepikir in your life together, do not you think contemplates the high, but Lift up yourselves to the case-case simple. Do not think you're clever!
17 Do not repay evil with evil; do what's good for everybody!
KISAH SEBUAH BENIH
Suatu kali, ada sebuah benih yang tercecer dan tidak dipedulikan orang. Karena merasa rendah diri, benih itu menganggap dirinya tidak penting. Hingga suatu hari, angin kencang datang dan membuat benih itu terbang - dia tidak tahu akan dibawa kemana - lalu tiba-tiba ia dilemparkan tanpa ampun ke sebuah tanah terbuka dan terpanggang di bawah sinar matahari.
Dia merasa bingung, mengapa ia harus mengalami semuanya itu? Tetapi yang ia bukanlah sebuah jawaban, tetapi air hujan sebagai gantinya terik matahari; kadang gerimis dan kadang hujan deras.
Sementara waktu berlalu dan tahun berganti, ia melihat seorang pengelana duduk di dekatnya, "Terima kasih Tuhan untuk ini. Saya sangat membutuhkan istirahat."
"Apa yang kamu bicarakan?" benih itu bertanya. Pikirnya sang pengelana sedang mengolok-olok dirinya. Benih itu memang melihat beberapa orang duduk di dekatnya dalam beberapa tahun terakhit, namun tidak ada yang berbicara seperti itu.
"Siapa itu?" orang tersebut terkejut.
"Ini aku, Benih..."
"Benih?" Pria itu melihat pohon raksasa itu. "Apa kamu bercanda? Kamu bukan benih. Kamu pohon. Sebuah pohon raksasa!"
"Benarkah?"
"Ya! Kamu pikir kenapa semua orang itu datang ke sini?"
"Untuk apa mereka datang kesini?"
"Untuk berasakan keteduhanmu! Jangan beritahu saya bahwa kamu tidak tahu telah mengalami pertumbuhan bersama berjalannya waktu."
Sesaat hening ketika pengelana itu selesai mengucapkan kalimat tersebut, dan membuat benih itu sadar siapa dirinya sekarang.
Benih itu sekarang telah menjadi sebuah pohon raksasa. Sambil berpikir, ia tersenyum untuk pertama kalinya. Tahun-tahun melelahkan berada dalam penyiksaan matahari dan hujan akhirnya masuk akal baginya.
"Oh! Itu artinya aku bukan benih kecil lagi! Aku tidak ditakdirkan untuk mati tanpa dikenali siapapun tetapi sebenarnya aku lahir untuk memberi keteduhan bagi orang-orang yang lelah. Wow! Sekarang hidupku seharga ribuan permata!" ucap benih yang telah menjadi sebuah pohon raksasa itu.
Tahukah Anda, kehidupan manusia serupa dengan jalan hidup benih ini. Banyak orang tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya berharga, dan setiap kesukaran yang dialaminya dimasa lalu adalah sebuah proses untuk membuat mereka kuat dan bertumbuh menjadi pribadi yang besar yang dapat memberkati kehidupan banyak orang.
Ingatlah bahwa hidup Anda lebih berharga dari ribuan permata, karena Anda telah ditebus dengan darah Kristus yang mahal. Hari ini sadarilah, bahwa Anda bukanlah sebuah benih lagi. Anda adalah sebuah pohon dimana ada banyak orang yang bernaung. (Sumber : Novoneel Chakraborty/ Heartnsouls.com)

Orang benar akan bertunas seperti pohon korma, akan tumbuh subur seperti pohon aras di Libanon; mereka yang ditanam di bait TUHAN akan bertunas di pelataran Allah kita. Pada masa tua pun mereka masih berbuah, menjadi gemuk dan segar, untuk memberitakan, bahwa TUHAN itu benar, bahwa Ia gunung batuku dan tidak ada kecurangan pada-Nya (Mazmur 92:13-16)
STORY OF A SEED
One time, there is a seed scattered and ignored people. Due to feel inferior, it considers itself the seed is not important. Until one day, strong winds came in and made the seed fly - he does not know will carry around - and then suddenly he was thrown mercilessly into an open ground and baked in the sun.
She felt confused, why he had to have these things? But he is not an answer, but rain water instead of hot sun, sometimes rain and sometimes heavy rain.

"Seeds?" The man saw the giant tree. "Are you kidding? You are not the seed. You're a tree. A giant tree!"
"Really?"
"Yes! You think why all these people come here?"
"Why would they come here?"
"To berasakan keteduhanmu! Do not tell me that you do not know has experienced growth with the passage of time."
A moment of silence when the rover was finished saying those words, and made the seed realize who he is today.
The seed that has now become a giant tree. Thoughtfully, he smiled for the first time. The years of grueling torture are in the sun and the rain finally made sense to him.
"Oh! That means I'm not a small seed again! I was not destined to die without recognizable anyone but actually I was born to provide shade for people who are tired. Wow! Now my life for thousands of jewels!" said the seed that has become a giant tree.
Did you know, human life similar to the way of life of this seed. Many people do not realize that he is valuable, and any difficulties they experienced in the past is a process to make them stronger and grow into large private that can bless the lives of many people.
Remember that your life is more precious than thousands of gems, since you have been redeemed with the precious blood of Christ. Today is aware, that you are not a seed again. You are a tree where there are many people who take shelter. (Source: Novoneel Chakraborty / Heartnsouls.com)
